Dr. Zaid graduated from the University of Jordan, School of Medicine in 2018. He is currently a medical research assistant at King Hussein Cancer Center and with COWF's Global Health Coalition Mid EastBorn and raised in Iraq, Dr. Zaid witnessed the horrifying scenes resulting from war and the detrimental effects it has on education, health, and wellbeing of refugees."Fast forward to my final years of high school, I participated in a medical mission designed to provide free medical care to the most vulnerable believing that I could make a difference in their lives. This ignited a spark within me to expand my voluntary work in order to further help those in need, whether medically, educationally or both."
