VISION 


Children of War Foundation's mission is to deliver access to transformational healthcare, medical education and infrastructure needs to children affected by war, natural disaster, discrimination, climate change, poverty, isolation, and migration challenges.  COWF envisions a world where disadvantaged children succeed in life in an environment that promotes their health, social, cultural and moral development.  Thanks to our care and commitment to Youth worldwide, progress will be made simultaneously on all 17 Sustainable Development Goals.   


COWF continues to build and draw a global presence through our remote network & partners, engaging with health care professionals, innovators, educators, private, public, governmental, academic, and institutional entities, from across the globe.  With our network, partnerships as well as supporters, we are able to mobilize; medical and educational exchange outreach programs, bringing healthcare professionals and educators together for the purpose of knowledge sharing, empowering, bridging gaps in inequalities, building upon infrastructure needs with opportunities to better of lives of those less fortunate. By partnering with COWF,  access to the rest of the world & collective action is possible for PEOPLE, PLANET, PROSPERITY, PEACE & PARTNERSHIP.  


Furthermore, medical missions and outreach initiatives are a great opportunity to engage, collaborate, learn from each other on an international multinational level, empowering communities to become productive, encouraging economic participation, and cooperatively work together towards healthy and sustainable solutions, whilst, operate on challenging cases and transform lives in regions of need.


As of 2020, COWF has directly impacted over 12,000 lives in over 40 communities in partnership with implementing SDG's partners and team members.  Among a wide range of programming, our services and impact include:


- improving clinical capabilities at multiple hospitals and healthcare facilities

- saved lives with surgical intervention

- providing medical education workshops, lectures, seminars and symposiums to underrepresented healthcare professionals and community civil society workers

- developed programs in the areas of pediatric surgery, neonatal health and surgical innovation, mental health, community aid work,   mentorship and fellowship training

- delivering life saving medications, surgical supplies and operating theater equipment

- sponsoring and donating educational supplies & books  in several languages for primary and secondary age students

- mentored over 600 high school and university students through COWF Club & Chapter outreach programs

- programming including; teaching, shadowing, volunteering, and empowering COWF team members, partners, supporters, and most importantly, our stakeholders 


COWF is a non-profit, non-religious, non-politically affiliated organization that provides medical care to the children that need it regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality and religion.
